My Step-Father, Eric Tuckerman, was born on the 16th September, 1919., in Stanley. County Durham.
He died at the age of 77 on the 29th July, 1996., whilst in Southmoor Hospital, Stranley. County Durham.
During the second World War, he was a Private in the RASC.
When he was sent abroad, he was captured and sent to Stalag XXA and then later to Stalag XXB
